Show Up.

Speak Up.

Mobilize.

Community with a drive. Townhalls with a purpose.

We don’t just navigate change—we create it.

Our quarterly town hall is where KC’s queer community comes together to strategize, share concerns, and spark action. Whether we’re tackling urgent issues, amplifying community voices, or planning for the future, our townhalls are about more than talk—they’re about turning conversation into collective power.

To be queer:

These aren’t to protest.

These aren’t to show off.

These are about us; to be community.

Each townhall, we focus on three main areas:

Culture

Our community is vibrant and we celebrate us as often as possible. Ballroom, drag, music, the written word— the queer community has and will always be one thriving and cultivating in the arts. We celebrate this part of us by promising an all-ages line up to open up and close out every townhall.

Community

We must be present with each other in order to find stability through uncertainty. That’s why we create these spaces as community hubs to hear from others, discuss current issues, and unify under one voice. We hold open forums, panels, and prioritize equal representation with those we invite to speak at these events.

Commerce

Through these times of hate and fear it is vital that we propel our community. We partner with Our Spot’s monthly market to enrich queer and ally businesses. We invite artisans, food vendors, self-care services, and more so that each townhall you can find something new and a neighbor to do business with.

Voices for all.

Spaces for all.

Conversations

that count.

Representation matters.

Community first.

We Show Up.

Every time.
